Microsoft has just released update KB4512508 for Windows 10 version 1903 . Microsoft has also released another cumulative update for its latest Windows 10 Feature Update 1903 on Patchday in August 2019.
The update KB4512508 raises the Windows version number to 18362.295 and it is now available for download via the integrated Windows Update function and also via the Microsoft Update Catalog.
Many errors are not eliminated with the update KB4512508 , so far the following bug fixes are known.
- Fixes the same problem as update KB4511553 . A problem may prevent PCs from starting if they are part of a domain and are configured to use MIT Kerberos realms. Both the domain controller and domain members are affected.
- Furthermore, extensive security updates for Windows App Platform and frameworks, Windows storage and file systems, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows input and composition, Windows wireless networks, Windows cryptography, Windows data center networks, Windows virtualization, Windows storage and file systems, Microsoft JET database module, Windows Linux, Windows Kernel, Windows Server, Windows MSXML, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge integrated in the update KB4512508 .
Unfortunately, errors have also been reported for the update KB4512508 .
Error 1 from update KB4512508:
For months there have been problems with the new Windows 10 sandbox. Users who have installed the Windows 10 sandbox function may receive the error code ” ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (0x80070002) ” when starting the Windows sandbox .
Microsoft is of the opinion that it occurs particularly on PCs on which the operating system language was changed during the update process when installing Windows 10 version 1903. However, we cannot confirm this, because the error code 0x80070002 also occurs with completely newly installed Windows 10 Version 1903 systems.
Workaround:
A working workaround for the sandbox error code 0x80070002 is not yet known.
